We have seen Sonic in many different lights, but NOT on a motocross bike. Based on the resume and art portfolio of designer Eric D Simmons when working for 2XL Games, a proposed motocross game was discovered featuring Sonic the Hedgehog. Unfortunately, it’s likely a game we will never see on our iPhone device.
All we have left is this fantastic concept illustration that surfaced online. A racing concept is not new for the Sonic franchise and possibly the reason this game did not come into fruition could be the clashing nature with Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. Personally, I would like to see Sonic in more creative ways than endless runners, but that might just be me.
