Pokémon GO has been a Summer mobile gaming phenomenon. As the app has been downloaded over 500 million times, the team behind PPokémon GO has tested new ways to play. With their anticipatedPokémon Plus shipping later this year, there is also another way to interact with the game using a device on your wrist.
At the Apple Event, Niantic Labs have added Apple Watch functionality that will allow players collect Pokémon and discover Pokéstops without the need to always look at your screen.
During the demo, the team showcases how the game blends fitness activity data while showcasing nearby Pokémon at a glance. Pokéstops will send notifications when they arrive.
The new app will be shipping before the end of year.
