The makers of Clash of Clans (Supercell) stated that their mobile spin-off Clash Royale was (still is) a “huge hit” during its fiscal performance report. According to data intelligence firm Sensor Tower, Supercell generated over $1 billion in revenue within the first 11 months in market. The iOS version released worldwide on March 2nd, 2016 and an Android version released six months afterwards.
As Supercell approaches their one year anniversary of Clash Royale, the game joins their fierce mobile competitor Pokémon GO in the $1 billion revenue club. Apparently it only took Pokémon GO six months in the market to get there. Clash Royale and Clash of Clans continues to grow steadily and making Supercell an interesting success story from this Finnish game company.
With their strong following, constant updates and events, and new gameplay mechanics – it was inevitable for Clash Royale to be a success. And if you’ve spent some time with the game, you would surely realize how addicting the game can be.
